FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HUNTING SAFETY & CONVENIENCE IMPROVED WITH
WIZARD SHOOTING SPECS

With the Wizard Shooting Specs Bifocal Safety glasses, safety is no longer inconvenient for the millions of presbyopic hunters, outdoorsmen, and marksmen.

Van Nuys, California - Many thousands of eye injuries occur every year. Most of them are preventable by the simple use of safety glasses. Wizard's new Shooting Specs bifocal safety glasses will ensure that the millions of hunters, outdoorsmen, and sports enthusiasts can have adequate eye protection and improved close-up vision, without the inconvenience of wearing reading glasses under their safety glasses.

Presbyopia is the inability to focus at close distances, and is common among people in their late 30's to early 40's. The Shooting Specs feature mono-lens, bifocal correction for presbyopia, in +1.0, +1.5, +2.0, +2.5, and +3.0 diopter strengths.

"We know they will help reduce eye injuries," says Billy Carmen, CEO of Wizard Industries, "because people want to wear them. Hunters will be able to see clearly as they load their guns, helping prevent mistakes," he continued, "so they can also help reduce other mishaps and injuries."

The Wizard Shooting Specs are ANSI Z87.1989 compliant safety glasses with polycarbonate lenses and integrated side shields. They provide excellent protection from flying objects from both the front and side. When looking straight ahead, the Shooting Specs are optically clear. When looking down they provide correction through the integrated flat top 28mm bifocal component. The lenses also provide 99.9% UV protection, up to 380 nm, and are scratch resistant. The ear stems are adjustable for both length and angle, ensuring a perfect, comfortable fit.

"It's not surprising that the military, the police and firearms training centers across the nation require eye protection when handling firearms," noted Carmen. "With the number of eye injuries that are so easily preventable, it just makes sense. We're just glad to provide convenience and comfort with our Shooting Specs."

The Wizard Shooting Specs with clear lenses will begin shipping in October, and will be available nationwide through sporting goods retailers and outdoor shops. Retail price is $19.95. Tinted lenses in either high-contrast yellow or smoke-grey will be available in November.
